Membership Information

Due to the Club’s limited membership as outlined in the By-Laws, new members to the Touchdown Club are sponsored by existing club members. When joining the Club, members agree to certain financial and attendance requirements. These requirements are outlined below.

Membership Requirements

Touchdown Club Regular members agree to abide by its Constitution and By-Laws and accept responsibility to:

  • Promote the physical and social welfare of the youth of ArlingtonPromote good fellowship and sociability among the membersAttend a monthly evening meeting on the second Thursday, from September — June at the Arlington Sons of ItalySupport the Club’s programs & mission by ATTENDING AT LEAST SEVEN (7) OF THE TEN (10) REGULAR MEETINGS
  • Associate members are required to attend seven (7) of the ten (10) regular meetings.Honorary members are required to attend three (3) of the ten (10) regular meetings.
  • Life members have no attendance requirements.
  • Pay annual dues on or before the December monthly meeting each year. Annual dues includes three drawing numbers for the member.

Exemptions may be granted, subject to approval of the Executive Board, upon written request from the member for any valid or substantial reason.

Since 1944, the Touchdown Club has maintained a very proud record in promoting the athletic, social, and scholastic abilities of the youth of Arlington. This has been possible due to the strong support of the members in fulfilling their commitment to the Club to pay dues and by attending the monthly meeting.

Monthly Meetings

Monthly Meetings are held on on the second Thursday of the months September — June. Social hour begins at 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm. Dinner Reservations are required.
